Because of our focus on the “Here for Good Capital Campaign” in Fall 2024, your Finance Committee said we would have our “usual” pledge campaign after the start of the new year. The goal was to recognize that these are two very different “asks.” Our Capital Campaign was “2nd Mile Giving,” above and beyond our usual gifts to the running of the church. Our “usual” commitment (pledge) campaign is for our normal operations: heat, salaries, website, plowing, worship resources, insurance, etc. This keeps the church running.
Therefore, your Finance Committee is seeking estimates of giving for 2025 recognizing that everything we have is a gift from God and then we share from what we have to meet the needs of ministry. Giving is one of the ways we LET OUR LIGHT SHINE.
We pray that God would bless what we have to offer and together we’ll find ways to be ministry in 2025, helping us SHINE THE LIGHT in the Chugiak-Eagle River area and around the world.
