There is a long tradition at The United Methodist Church of Chugiak to decorate the interior of the sanctuary with quilts during the Season of Epiphany. It makes the space warmer and homier during some of the coldest months of winter. Moreover, many of the quilts are hung along with a story about the quilter or the history behind the quilt.
