School’s starting, and UMCC is taking up a collection of school supplies to help out our local schools. There will be a collection box by the front door on Sunday August 22nd and 29th.
Bring in any of the following: 24 box of crayons, Glue sticks, Bottle of glue, Composition notebooks, Plastic crayon/pencil boxes, Scissors for children (no sharp tips), Large pink erasers, Nut Free Snacks
Please also join us this Sunday, August 22nd, for the Blessing of the Backpacks!Whether you’re young or old, going off to preschool, elementary school, high school, or even college, bring in your backpack for a blessing during children’s time. It’s a way to begin the school year with a prayers. We’ll pray for our schools and educators as well.
