Often around October 4th, The Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, there is a BLESSING OF THE ANIMALS in Roman Catholic or Episcopal churches. But many “mainline” churches also do this as a way to recognize a revered Saint in the church universal but also to recognize the importance that animals play in our lives.
We’ll have a fun worship experience with lots of ANIMAL THEMES. And, at 11:50 am (about a half hour after worship) we’ll invite people to bring their pets to be blessed.
