On Thursday, October 10th at 6:30 PM, Superintendent Rev. Kristi McGuire will conduct the 2024 Charge Conference for The United Methodist Church of Chugiak. For those who may be unfamiliar, “Charge Conference” is a yearly administrative meeting of the church. We will approve the pastor’s compensation and nominations for church leadership positions. We will present reports from our Finance Committee and our Trustees along with our Lay Speakers and Lay Servants. This year, we’ll talk about our progress on Bishop Cedrick Bridgeforth’s “M.I.L.E.” program. This will be in the context of a worship experience together.
This is not a mandatory meeting for church members, but all of our members are welcome to attend.
There will be Staff-Parish Relations Committee meeting with Rev. McGuire at 6 PM.
