Pastor Jim will be working with two other part-time clergy in ministry with the good people of Christ First UMC in Wasilla. It will be less than 25% of his time but is a way for each member of the pastoral team to share their gifts in that setting.
While this does mean that he will be in Wasilla one Sunday a month, it gives an opportunity for guest preachers in our pulpit to hear different voices and give others the experience of preaching.
We are thankful that Geoffrey Woods will be filling our pulpit the first three Sundays that Pastor Jim is in Wasilla.
